Kris McPeak, M.Ed.

Hi there! I’m Kris McPeak, your enthusiastic guide through the wild intersection of politics, pop culture, and everything in between. If you’ve ever wondered how a meme can shift a political narrative, or how your favorite TV show reflects real-world power, you’re in the right place.

My Story (Because everyone loves a good origin tale)

I’ve spent years working in higher education—designing programs, building community, and helping people discover their voice. Alongside that I’ve explored side hustles, creative projects, and all sorts of pop culture obsessions. Movies, TV, music, trends—you name it.

Over time, I realized that watching stories isn’t passive. They shape how we see the world. And politics…well, it’s in everything. It influences what gets made, who gets to speak, and what gets silenced.

The Shift: Why Politics & Pop Culture?

My curiosity and experience have led me here: I’m fascinated by how culture and politics feed off each other, and how both help—or hinder—change. I believe in honest conversations, in digging deep, in questioning “because that’s always how it’s been.” My political perspective has evolved, my beliefs have shifted, and I’m committed to sharing that journey—warts and all.

Oh, and I’ve been known to change my hair color as often as my opinions—because why not keep life interesting?

On a Personal Note

When I’m not connecting dots between politics and pop culture, I’m:

  • Knitting something colorful

  • Binge-watching old and new shows

  • Promoting my Gallup Coaching

  • Reimagining my hair color (because life’s too short for boring roots)

  • Always asking questions, reading fervently, and trying to stay woke (emphasis on the trying)
